Sample CoordinatorRole Responsibilities
As a Sample Coordinator, your primary responsibilities include:
- Request Processing: Review and validate incoming sample requests
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory
- Quality Control: Maintain product specifications and shelf life requirements
- Team Coordination: Communication between teams to ensure smooth operations-
- Inventory Updates: Record inventory movements and stock changes
- Replenishment: Submit replenishment requests for low stock items
- Order Picking: Use pick lists to gather products from inventory
- Packaging: Properly package samples according to shipping requirements
- Shipping: Process shipments and assign tracking information
Status Definitions
Understanding request and product statuses is crucial for effective fulfillment:
Request Statuses
The request as a whole can have the following statuses:
- Pending - Awaiting approval from authorized personnel
- Processing - Approved and ready for fulfillment
- Partially Shipped - Some products shipped, others pending
- Shipped - All products dispatched to customer
- Delivered - Confirmed delivery to customer
- Complete - Request marked complete and closed
- Rejected - Request declined or cancelled
Product Statuses
Individual products within a request can have these statuses:
- Pending - Product assignment needed
- Processing - Product assigned, ready for picking
- Shipped - Product included in shipment
- Backorder - Product temporarily unavailable
- Rejected - Product request declined
